My name is Sam Taylor-Weekes, and when I was 14 I decided to start Hit Cricket- a bat refurbishing business which not only sold refurbished bats and offered refurbishment services but did both of these at very reasonable costs and as high quality as I could produce. The reason I did this is because I am cricket-mad and love business.
Recently, cricket bat prices have been extremely high and therefore I aim to provide good quality bats at reasonable prices. The prices are very low as I think that everyone should have access to playing cricket those who have lots of money and those less financially gifted. I don’t want the sport I love to be viewed as a posh sport or just for the rich kids but I want everyone who wants to play to be able to play and to be able to play with a high quality bat. In the future, I aim to be able to offer other cricket equipment such as pads and other gear as well as the bats.
